ABOUT: Alex Emes
Alex Emes has been a professional photographer for over 25 years. After studying television production and color darkroom at Seneca College in Toronto, Alex purchased his first pro Nikon F2 camera and began his photo career.
Alex has travelled throughout Western Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, India, Brazil, the Caribbean, and North America doing photojournalistic and portrait work for publication. He’s been in some of the most exotic and craziest places in the world. He has enjoyed trust and photographic access where others aren’t allowed.
Some of his work has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for orphans and children at risk. His work has been published in periodicals such as: The Villager, Appaloosa Journal, The Perfect Horse, Operation Mercy, Adopt-A-Teen, The Ukrainian Weekly (Canada), and also various websites. He has done assignment photography for various clients including Berlin Rosen Public Affairs of NYC, and TT Publications of Florida. Alex has also photographed weddings and events in Eastern Europe, Jamaica, Canada, and America. He is passionate about his work.
